FAS (formamidine sulfinic acid) can be used to replace sodium hydrosulfite in reductive bleaching. FAS can provide a cost savings from sodium hydrosulfite as well as potentially, greatly increasing brightness .
FAS can be utillized for reductive bleaching of minerals, as well as recycled fibers and virgin fibers used in the Textile and Paper industries.
FAS comes in bags, fiber drums, 500 kg sacks, or 1000 kg super sacks.
